1. Service

oto-e is a web app that processes the audio and images you choose entirely within your browser to generate visualizer videos. The operator does not receive or store your audio or images.

2. Free version

The Free version lets you export 720p or 1080p, 24 or 30fps videos. All three aspect ratios (landscape 16:9, vertical 9:16, square 1:1) are available, as is trimming the export range, adding leading and trailing silence, and fades. Preview and all supported styles are unlimited. Preset saving is limited to 3.

Free exports always carry one of two oto-e marks. With “Include the oto-e credit” off, a watermark showing “oto-e” and the site URL is placed in a corner of the frame, and track titles, credits, and foreground images are not included in the export. With it on, the watermark is removed and titles, credits, and foreground images are exported, but the credit line ends with “ · otoe.freqprism.com” and the foreground image is fixed to the oto-e icon. Minimum values apply to text size, opacity, and placement so that the mark stays legible. In either case, you may not remove the oto-e mark from an exported video before publishing it.

3. Creator Pro

Creator Pro is a one-time license sold on Gumroad. Activating a valid license key unlocks exports with no oto-e mark (your own foreground image and a credit line without the URL), resolutions up to 1440p, 60fps up to 1080p, unlimited presets, and JSON export. It includes v1.x updates.

4. License to use

You may use the Free version, or a legitimately purchased Creator Pro, to create videos for personal and commercial purposes. Rights in the generated videos follow the rights in the materials you use.

5. Prohibited conduct

• Selling, publishing, or mass-sharing license keys to third parties
• Interfering with the operation of the service
• Using materials that violate laws or the rights of third parties
• Use intended for unauthorized access, authentication bypass, or resale

6. Rights in materials

You are responsible for obtaining the rights and permissions needed for your audio, images, and other input materials. oto-e does not grant any license to third-party materials.

7. Warranty and liability

The operator does not warrant continuity of the service, fitness for a particular purpose, or operation on all devices and browsers. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect damages or lost profits arising from use. Except in cases of the operator's intent or gross negligence, the operator's liability to you is limited to direct and actual damages that ordinarily arise, capped at the amount you paid in connection with the Service (including Creator Pro).

8. Changes and termination

The operator may change features or these Terms where reasonably necessary. Significant changes will be announced on this page or similar. Features covered by a purchased Creator Pro v1.x will be maintained to a reasonable extent.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. In the event of a dispute, the parties will consult in good faith.
